You Can Experience

It has taken me a few years to come into my purpose - well, knowingly that is. 

Over time God supplanted His will in me and gave me a desire to share His word with others. The day I realized, I had a full laughter at the realization I was living in it all along. I thank God for giving me grace to grow and space to bloom. God’s power shines forth in my weakness and in spite of it. Like Paul, I can boast because and only because His grace is sufficient. 

Over time I have also learned to experience God for myself not just through the lived faith of another. Becoming still to hear His still small voice. Being intentional about involving Him in my plans and seeking His guidance. Being honest about my shortfalls and shortcomings, knowing He will not use my vulnerable moments against me because He desires my good. Claiming His promises and depending on His word. Growing, falling, rising again, falling, blooming through trials, joys, hardships and mistakes trusting that His goodness and mercy were following after me.

I urge you if nothing else, to experience what it is to be in a relationship with God for yourself. You can experience, too.

Dear Heavenly Father, 

Thank You for being an intentional and compassionate God. You seek after the one to have a saving relationship. You are not far from any one of us. For every individual, You have provided a Saviour, in the person of Your Son Jesus who died and gave His life for us all. We can experience Your love, mercy, joy, peace, compassion and long suffering for ourselves. Thank You. In Jesus name, Amen.
