Because He answers my prayers, I will pray as long as I live. In my days of difficulties for my rescue and relief. In my times of trouble for guidance and grace. Psalm 116:2 (Personalized)
Actively waiting. I’ve been thinking about this a lot! About preparing in faith for those things I’ve been praying for. On releasing every worry and care over to God.
On acknowledging that if I try to carry it on my own, then I wouldn’t have the capacity to carry the things I need to. Matthew 7:7 admonishes us to – “Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.”
I am a living, breathing testimonial for asking God for deliverance and receiving it. For seeking His will and being shown my purpose. For knocking on His door and entering His peace. I can pray with confidence because ‘God is not a man, and He cannot lie.’ (Numbers 23:19)
I claim His promises and actively wait on Him. What do I mean when I say actively wait? I mean I prepare in faith for what I pray for.
I ready myself to receive my blessings as opposed to being the obstacle in the way blocking it. I love the quote that says, ‘God has already prepared the way; He’s just preparing you.’
My favorite flower is the Desert Rose. It resonates with me as a reminder of personal endurance and adaptability. The vibrant colors remind me that there’s no beauty we can add to the craftmanship of our Creator.
Because of its ability to thrive in diverse climates, it encourages me to stay strong and flexible through all the changing scenes of life. So, I keep His promises closely while I wait for Him. I praise Him in the waiting room. I allow the Master Gardener even in moments of affliction or when there’s pain in my offering to prune away with care.
Lord, thank You for the thorough care You take of me. Help me to continue to trust You in the good times and in the bad. Thank You for being a source of comfort and solace as I walk in answered prayer.
You move me from waiting, to working, to walking, all in Your time – the best time. Just as the flower goes from seed to seedling to sprout to growth to full bloom; be with me in every process. Thank You for planting me where I need to be – always.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11.
Be blessed to be a blessing!
